About the Role

As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting patients by managing the front-end process for equipment orders and insurance verification. This is a fast-paced role involving inbound and outbound calls, documentation, and coordination with multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

+ Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to assist patients

+ Obtain, analyze, and verify referral information

+ Create orders and schedule equipment delivery

+ Educate patients on financial responsibility when applicable

+ Complete insurance verification and obtain pre-authorizations

+ Navigate multiple EMR systems to enter and review documentation

+ Communicate trends and issues with insurance carriers to management

+ Contact patients when documentation does not meet payer guidelines

Qualifications

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Previous customer service experience preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newton, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
