Hours: Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm Central Time.

Role Overview: The Client Service Center Associate handles incoming calls from retirement plan and health benefit participants, providing education, troubleshooting, and support to ensure efficient responses to inquiries. The role serves as a single point of contact for client support on Alerus products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries via phone, email, and chat about retirement and health benefits topics.
• Communicate professionally and clearly, understanding client inquiries and using Alerus websites and apps effectively.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services, systems, and regulations related to retirement and benefits plans.
• Understand and explain retirement plan documents, loan policies, and health account regulations.
• Develop customer relationships by informing clients about suitable products and services.
• Support team goals and meet performance standards in quality, attendance, and productivity.

Qualifications:

• At least 1+ years of experience in employee benefits, customer service, or related financial services preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
