As a Customer Service Specialist
, you will support patients by managing the front‑end process for equipment orders and insurance verification. This fast‑paced role involves inbound and outbound calls, documentation, and coordination with multiple systems.
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to assist patients
- Obtain, analyze, and verify referral information
- Create orders and schedule equipment delivery
- ate patients on financial responsibility when applicable
- Complete insurance verification and obtain pre‑authorizations
- Navigate multiple EMR systems to enter and review documentation
- Communicate trends and issues with insurance carriers to management
- Contact patients when documentation does not meet payer guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous customer service experience preferred
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newton, IA.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
