What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Answer inquiries from members, providers, and brokers regarding product information, benefits, claims resolution, eligibility, and billing in a call center environment
  • Provide first-level problem resolution by gathering and researching information on claims submissions and verifying accuracy
  • Deliver accurate information to customers while maintaining performance goals and objectives
  • Document all client interactions according to established departmental procedures
  • Participate in system testing and ongoing education related to new services and industry topics
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience
  • Demonstrated skills as an empathetic and compassionate communicator
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in PC navigation and data entry
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • 3 years of experience in a call center customer service role or experience with medical or insurance terminology
