Inbound Virtual Customer Service Agent

Overview

We've been a Work-At-Home business since May 2003. We take calls for many non-profit organizations. The majority of our calls consist of taking donations for PBS and NPR stations; however, we also have additional project types as well. Donation calls are similar to taking orders over the phone with the exception of the terminology involved. If you have experience taking orders, reading and following scripts and independently preparing for the calls you take, these types of calls should be easy for you!

• Provide inbound customer service as an Independent Contractor for our clients.
• Answer enthusiastic caller inquiries and guide interactions according to scripts.
• Read and follow provided scripts and independently prepare for calls.
• Participate in the certification process and complete all required steps within the designated timelines.
• Stay competitive and active across multiple campaigns to align with client needs.
• Coordinate onboarding once selected, with notifications delivered via email and onboarding potentially starting within 48 hours of invitation.

• Minimum 6 months formal telephone experience, preferably call center related
• Moderate level of computer knowledge
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to type 40 WPM or higher
• Must be self directed and self motivated
• Strong listening skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous call center experience a plus

• Must demonstrate call control
• Must be able to complete the entire certification process within 14 days of notification of acceptance
