This role supports the claims team by troubleshooting health insurance claim issues, handling escalated inquiries from the call center, and assisting with out-of-state provider conversations.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and resolve claim-related issues.
- Handle escalated questions from internal teams and external partners.
- Communicate through real-time internal and external chat channels.
- Perform task-based training, gradually taking on additional responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and ask for help when needed.
- No prior health insurance experience required.
- Problem-solving skills and comfort with computer-based work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Monday-Friday, mostly 7:30 AM-4:00 PM.
- Weekly team meeting Wednesdays at 7:00 AM.
- On-site in Honolulu; remote work may be offered a few days per week based on performance.
- Training is structured by task progression.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
