Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM - Training is fully on-site.
- Rise Academy / Nesting Period:
After Training - Hybrid Eligibility:
- Candidates will be eligible for a hybrid schedule after completing 30 full days of taking calls. Hybrid work may begin in April.
- Hybrid schedules is 3 days work from home and 2 days onsite.
Post-training and nesting shifts are assigned based on business needs of the assigned bank.
Available shifts for this class:
- 9:30 AM-6:00 PM
- 10:00 AM-6:30 PM
Monday-Friday
Compensation- $18/hour - English-speaking candidates
- $19.50/hour - Bilingual candidates (Spanish only)
The client is expanding their Claims customer service representative. This is a high-level call center role focused primarily on homeowner claims. Call durations can range from 1 minute to 45 minutes, often involving customers who are frustrated due to delayed repairs or held funds.
Responsibilities- Handle approximately 40-50 inbound calls per day, depending on call length
- Assist customers with existing homeowner claims
- Navigate multiple systems to research and resolve inquiries
- Use claim tools to provide accurate and timely information
- Handle escalated calls when necessary
- Serve as a liaison between Proctor, homeowners, and lenders
- Maintain professionalism while managing upset or frustrated customers
- Document all interactions and updates in the claim system
- Make outbound calls as required
- Apply strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Customer service

- Contact center experience
- Mortgage or insurance knowledge (preferred)
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
- Working cellphone with active service (required for dual authentication)
- 1-2 years of call center experience (preferably in escalations, claims, or insurance)
- Ability to handle difficult and high-pressure conversations ("thick skin")
- Proficient with Windows PCs and navigating complex systems
- Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable transportation (references will be checked)
- Insurance or mortgage
- Experience handling auto claims or other claim types
- Previous Medicaid or Medicare call center experience

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
