Personal Touch Insurance & Benefits Team

With your excellent communication skills, you'll develop relationships with existing accounts and members, respond to inquiries, and communicate meeting outcomes, competitive information, and customer needs.

No prior insurance experience is required, as we offer comprehensive training to ensure your success.

Requirements
  • Must pass a background and drug test.
  • Have a private home office.
  • This is a hybrid job; you must live around Boise,  / Treasure Valley area.
  • Extensive knowledge of Zoom.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; mandatory overtime during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct 15 through Dec 15) – up to 12 hrs per day, 6 days a week. Time off is very limited during this period.
  • Regular schedule otherwise: 8 am‑5 pm, Monday–Friday.
Compensation

Compensation – This is a W2 wage‑earning position paid on an hourly basis. Base pay starts at $15 per hour and can rise to $20 per hour. Base pay plus commission. Flexible schedule from January–September. Opportunities for advancement and bonus money if you go above and beyond. Paid time off is included. Opportunity to obtain an Idaho insurance license.

Job Application Instructions
  • Complete the assessment and questions from Wizehire.
  • Complete two Zoom interviews and one in‑person interview.
Responsibilities
  • All clerical skills required – answering phones, taking messages, etc.
  • Talk with people all day; enjoy people (extrovert not required).
  • Answer client inquiries, provide general information on plans, and direct them to licensed agents for personalized consultations.
  • Client Service Requests – , billing/payments, general requests, etc.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service via phone, email, and online chat with a warm, personal approach.
  • Data management – input data into CRM and frequently update.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client records in our CRM system.
  • Verify and process client applications while ensuring compliance with Medicare and insurance regulations.
  • Assist licensed agents by handling administrative tasks such as policy enrollments, policy processing, and client follow‑ups.
  • Do What’s Needed: do anything that can free up the agent’s time so we can serve more clients and grow.
Qualifications
  • No prior insurance experience required; we provide training.
  • Candidates must have or be willing to obtain an insurance license.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
  • Proficiency in Apple products, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and use of various software.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of HIPAA is a plus.
  • Home office must be private.
  • Must live in or around Boise, Idaho / Treasure Valley area.
  • Typing speed 40 wpm.
  • Must pass background and drug test.
  • High school diploma or GED.
