Customer Experience Agent – Whatnot | Remote Job Summary
Whatnot, the largest live shopping platform in North America and Europe, is seeking Customer Experience Agents to deliver outstanding support to buyers and sellers. This full-time, remote role offers $24.04–$28.85/hour plus equity
, with flexibility to work from home or from Whatnot’s Phoenix hub.
The successful candidate will resolve customer issues, manage orders and shipments, and drive process improvements to ensure the best possible user experience.

Key Responsibilities- Interact with buyers and sellers with a customer-first attitude
- Resolve customer issues related to payments, orders, shipments, and general inquiries
- Become an expert in Whatnot’s products, processes, and systems
- Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve open questions
- Identify opportunities to eliminate repeat contacts and improve customer experience
Required:
- Weekend availability
- 2+ years of support experience (email/chat services)
- Understanding of e-commerce and marketplace operations
- Experience with customer-facing systems (Zendesk, Kustomer, Intercom)
- Strong customer-first mentality and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or college experience
- Knowledge of collectibles
Previous start-up experience - Typing speed of 35+ WPM
- Proficiency with MS Office and communication tools
