Job DescriptionAs a Customer Support Specialist I, you will focus on the customer service experience by identifying and resolving basic customer issues with Vertafore products, documenting case resolution, troubleshooting computer software, networks, database platforms, and operating systems in an inbound customer service environment. You will support cutting‑edge software solutions, resolve client system problems within established time frames, and serve as the “face” of Vertafore with customers.
CoreRequirements and Responsibilities
- Apply and demonstrate basic product knowledge while adhering to SOPs to resolve customer issues.
- Provide coverage of inbound interactions (calls, chats, emails, and cases).
- Educate customers to help them understand issues and how to self‑serve.
- Apply product knowledge gained in Vertafore’s Bootcamp training and daily activities.
- Track problems to determine trends or patterns.
- Coordinate problem resolution with various internal contacts.
- Assist peers in performing similar customer support duties.
- SQL
- Windows OS & Windows Server environments
- General accounting and/or bookkeeping experience (for AMS
360 team)
- Travel required up to 10% of the time.
- Located and working from an office location.
- Occasional lifting/moving up to 10 pounds.
- Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements to operate a computer.
- Requires close vision for computer work.
- Frequent sitting and/or standing.
