Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Call Center Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, proven experience in handling high-volume calls, and the ability to resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
+ Customer Support:
Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats to resolve customer inquiries promptly.
+ Issue Resolution:
Investigate and resolve billing, account, and technical support issues with accuracy.
+ Documentation:
Maintain and update customer accounts, ensuring all records are accurate and complete.
+ Technical Assistance:
Provide troubleshooting support for smartphone, Windows-based applications, and online platforms.
+ Relationship Building:
Build rapport with customers through active listening, empathy, and personalized service.
+ Team
Collaboration:
Support coworkers, assist with training new employees, and contribute to team success.
Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED required; associate's degree in communications preferred.
+ Customer Service
Experience:
5+ years in customer-facing roles, including call center and technical support.
+ Strong multitasking and organizational skills with proven ability to manage high call volumes.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows-based applications.
+ Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
+ CPR and First Aid certified (preferred).

This is a Contract position based out of East Lansing, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
