Position: German Speaking Customer Service for Online Travel & Tour Packages Department

Mercier Consultancy is looking for a proactive German Speaking Customer Service Representative to join our Online Travel & Tour Packages Department for one of our clients. In this exciting Entry Level position, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding support to our German-speaking clients as they plan and book their travel experiences with us.

Your fluency in German will be essential for assisting customers with inquiries related to travel arrangements, tour packages, and reservations. Your dedication to customer satisfaction and strong communication skills will help ensure that our clients have a seamless and enjoyable booking experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service in German through phone, email, and chat regarding online travel and tour packages
  • Assist customers with inquiries about itineraries, pricing, bookings, and modifications
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions for customers experiencing problems with their travel plans
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system
  • Collaborate with the travel operations team to deliver timely and effective solutions
  • Gather customer feedback to enhance our services and provide insights for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date on travel trends, regulations, and packages to offer informed recommendations
Qualifications
  • Fluency in both German and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Prior experience in customer service, especially in the travel or tourism industry, is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple inquiries in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Genuine passion for travel and helping customers create memorable experiences
  • Experience with customer support software and CRM systems is a plus
