Remote Customer Service Representative

Location

Warwick, Rhode Island (remote work with mandatory on‑site training and monthly in‑office attendance).

Work Mode & Schedule

Remote from home after training. Work Monday‑Friday,
am‑pm EST with a one‑hour lunch break. Shifts may vary based on business needs. No time off during training until end of nesting timeline (November – January).

Training & Certification

Training is on‑site at the client office in Warwick, RI. It lasts several weeks, followed by nesting and quality assessment on site. Successful completion of quality certification allows remote work, with one mandatory in‑office visit per month.

Equipment

Client supplies laptop, docking station, monitors, keyboard, mouse, and headset. Home setup must include high‑speed internet, wired Ethernet connection, and a quiet, secure workspace. Hotspots are not allowed.

Responsibilities
  • Answer customer calls regarding group annuity contracts, account maintenance, participant claims, and related inquiries.
  • Navigate Windows‑based systems to process requests.
  • Communicate complex topics clearly and educate customers on correct procedures.
  • Work to remove roadblocks, prevent escalations, and maintain quality metrics during nesting.
Qualifications
  • Years of call center experience.
  • Experience with Windows‑based operating systems (Microsoft Office, Suite, etc.).
  • Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
  • Ability to convey complex information to clients.
Additional Requirements

Training must be attended in person; nesting and quality assessment on site. Must be able to use video during interviews and training. Must have a stable internet connection and a quiet, secure workspace.
