Job Title
Customer Service Rep – Tech Products (Seasonal, Remote)
Position OverviewWork from home, interface with customers via inbound/outbound calls and/or the Internet. The role primarily handles inbound calls for account support, billing questions, product information, and refund processing.
Responsibilities- Provide inbound customer support using a call flow guide.
- Help customers complete purchases and provide post‑order support.
- Persuade customers to purchase additional products and/or services.
- Use product knowledge, build client relationships, and find new ways to retain customers.
- Track, document, and retrieve information in databases.
- Maintain broad knowledge of client products and/or services such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and wearables; familiarity with iOS and/or macOS or comparable technology is preferred.
- Offer additional products and/or services and deliver expert customer experiences.
- 1+ year of customer service experience (3+ years preferred; retail experience a plus).
- Strong focus on building customer relationships.
- Open availability.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Quiet, distraction‑free environment to work from at home.
- Proficiency in fast‑paced multi‑tasking.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge.
- Desktop or laptop suitable for PC and internet testing; a work computer may be provided but is not guaranteed.
- High‑speed internet (no wireless/hotspots or satellite) and a smartphone.
- Must reside in the United States and have a valid U.S. address.
- Base salary: $17.31/hr (pay rate will not be below the applicable minimum wage).
