The Affidavit Specialist is responsible for the intake and processing of customer and citizen inquiries received via email and other channels. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage high-volume workloads, and excellent communication skills.
This is a remote position requiring fluency in Spanish. The specialist will regularly process and respond to communications in Spanish, as a high volume of incoming inquiries are received in Spanish.
Typical requests include:
- Responding to citizen inquiries regarding notices, next steps, and status updates
- Processing and recording documents related to liability, hearings, payments, and correspondence
- Providing required documentation to customers and citizens
- Opening, sorting, and scanning incoming mail
- Evaluate and process high volumes of customer and citizen requests in accordance with business rules and applicable statutes
- Review, process, and respond to emails and correspondence in Spanish and English
- Develop a strong understanding of client-specific processes to ensure accurate and timely service
- Maintain alignment with company standards and operational requirements
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Process internal requests from operational and support teams
- Meet and maintain assigned service level agreements (SLAs)
- Fluent in Spanish (required – must be able to speak, read, and write professionally)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience required
- Data entry speed of 40 WPM
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills and judgment on when to escalate issues
- Professional demeanor with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
