Position OverviewDL Customer Service is hiring for an Office Specialist II. You'll be a vital part of the Public Safety team by helping ensure quality customer service to the diverse citizens of Utah.
Key Responsibilities- Provide customer service in a call center environment by responding to inbound phone calls.
- Interact with customers to communicate information about all aspects of the Driver License Division in response to questions from the public.
- Assist with questions which will range from very basic to very complex, including information about products and services the division provides.
- Have extensive knowledge and understanding of the agency database and exercise judgment while applying comprehensive knowledge of pertinent rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Handle customer complaints and offer suitable solutions.
- Provide the public and others with information and assistance to complete forms and applications.
This position is hybrid; two in-office days per week will be required.
Qualifications- Experience in customer service.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information, speaking clearly, concisely, and effectively, listening to and understanding information presented verbally, and gathering information or data.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to assist people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
