Role OverviewThe Call Center Lead is a working lead position, responsible for handling customer contacts while overseeing operations and supporting remote agents. You’ll act as the bridge between Hawaii-based leadership and mainland coverage, ensuring service levels are met and team morale remains high.
Key Responsibilities- Handle calls, chats, emails, and social inquiries, including escalations
- Serve as first point of contact for floor issues and customer escalations
- Run the opening shift, oversee schedules, and coordinate real-time adjustments
- Provide peer coaching, reinforce training, and assist with onboarding new agents
- Support daily/weekly reporting and act as communication link between leadership and agents
- Encourage team morale through recognition and engagement activities
- Oversee remote Contact Center Agents and Returns Specialists to ensure process consistency
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- 1+ year of customer service or call center experience
- Prior leadership or mentoring experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication skills for coaching in a remote setting
- Familiarity with CRM systems, call center software, and QA practices
- Must reside in Colorado and pass a background check
- Dedicated, quiet home workspace free from distractions
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for voice, video, and system applications
- Ability to work independently while staying connected to team channels
- Willingness to occasionally work onsite at the Denver facility
