Customer Service Representative – Apiary Medical | Remote (Richmond, VA)

Apiary Medical, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing high-quality medical products, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its growing team. This full-time, remote role offers $20–$25/hour plus comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) with 4% match, paid holidays, and life insurance.

The successful candidate will process orders, manage customer inquiries, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and excellent customer experiences.

• Location: Remote (Richmond, VA-based; hiring in CO, FL, MS, NJ, PA, SC, VA)
• Pay: $20–$25/hour
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, EST preferred

• Process customer orders, quotes, invoices, and payments
• Maintain accurate order entry and data management in Net Suite ERP
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone/email regarding orders, billing, and product information
• Contact purchasing departments for POs and payment instructions
• Coordinate with Finance on returns and adjustments
• Update customer records and delivery addresses
• Collaborate with Finance, Gov Con, and Customer Experience teams to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure timely order processing before distributor cut-off times
• Build and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships

Essential:

• 3+ years of customer service experience
• 3+ years of order entry or data entry experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a remote environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel required)
• Comfortable working with ERP systems

Preferred:

• Net Suite ERP experience
• Background in healthcare, medical supply, or government contracting
