Position: Customer Service Agent for Sporting Company (Remote Job)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to customers of a leading e-commerce sporting company. As a representative, you will deliver first-call resolution with white-glove service, respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product information. This is a remote position that offers flexible scheduling and a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver first-call resolution with white-glove service to customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries, including “where’s my order?” calls
  • Assist customers with product questions and provide information on products and services
  • Place new orders and volume orders, and handle existing orders, including returns and replacements
  • Provide store-specific support and track shipments
  • Offer gift card and loyalty card support
  • Disposition all calls in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress
  • Patience, empathy, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must be able to work 15-20 hours a week (some clients have weekend requirements)
Technical Requirements:
  • Minimum computer specifications or better as needed by the client (laptop or desktop)
  • USB headset with microphone (required for certification training)
  • Hard-wired broadband internet service via DSL, Cable, or Fiber Optic connection
  • Phone service
  • Call center noise-cancelling phone (must be purchased by the representative)
