Optum, part of United Health Group, is hiring Customer Service Representatives to join its Workers’ Compensation & Auto No-Fault division. This is a national remote role
, offering flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S.

  • Salary: $16.15–$28.80/hour (based on experience, education, and local labor market)
  • Contract Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 8-hour shifts (11:00 am–8:00 pm EST); occasional overtime and holiday shifts required
  • Training: 4 weeks of paid virtual training
Role Overview

You will handle inbound calls from pharmacies, insurance carriers, and injured workers to assist with medication processing related to workers’ compensation claims. This role requires compassion, efficiency, and strong communication skills to deliver outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound/outbound calls and emails regarding workers’ comp claims and prescription fulfillment
  • Resolve customer inquiries efficiently with a focus on first-call resolution
  • Document interactions accurately across multiple systems
  • Meet performance expectations for efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy requirements
Candidate Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 1+ years of experience in office, administrative, clerical, or customer service roles
  • Proficiency with Windows PC applications and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Availability to work Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 am–8:00 pm EST
Preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot computer issues in a virtual environment
Telecommuting Requirements
  • Secure, dedicated work area separate from living spaces
