Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position OverviewUniversal Language Service, Inc. – King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties, WA. Full‑time and part‑time positions available.
Language Access Specialist – Russian/Ukrainian – W‑2 employee role integrating scheduling, outreach operations, client support, and language services.
Employment & Compensation- Employment Type:
W‑2 Employee (not contractor) - Schedule:
Full‑time and part‑time available; typical schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with additional options for 24/7 coverage, evenings, weekends, and part‑time opportunities. Work from home/remote work is not permitted. - Base Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour plus bonuses
- Reliability & Attendance: $250–$500/month
- Fill Rate & Scheduling Contribution: $250–$550/month
- Utilization & Productivity: $300–$700/month
- Client Engagement & Support
Activities:
$150–$350/month - High‑Demand Coverage: $30–$80 per priority assignment
- Total Bonus Potential: $1,000 – $2,100+ per month
- Support scheduling and coordination of services to ensure full coverage
- Confirm availability and help reduce unfilled assignments
- Assist with onboarding coordination and readiness
- Contribute to achieving operational performance targets
- Conduct outbound calls and emails (appointment reminders, confirmations, follow‑ups)
- Provide administrative and coordination support
- Maintain professional communication and resolve service issues as needed
- Provide Russian/Ukrainian language support across in‑person, phone (OPI), and video (VRI) settings as part of service delivery
- Maintain high reliability and participation in assignments
- Support performance goals and reduce service gaps
- Contribute to overall operational efficiency
- Fluent in English and Russian/Ukrainian
- Experience in interpreting, healthcare support, or customer‑facing roles preferred
- Active DSHS Medical Interpreter Recognition and/or national certification required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with scheduling systems and communication platforms
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Typing speed at least 35 words per minute
