Associate Operations Coordinator
Job Description
The Associate Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in managing daily transportation operations. This position involves executing shipment management tasks, maintaining effective communication with customers and carriers, and ensuring data accuracy within systems. The role demands a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
+ Execute daily transportation-related tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency, in accordance with company policies and SOPs.
+ Provide shipment information to customers and carriers.
+ Create and activate orders and shipments.
+ Build and assign loads within transportation management systems.
+ Schedule pickup and delivery appointments.
+ Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time execution.
+ Enter shipment events and complete invoicing functions accurately.
+ Monitor task boards and assigned email inboxes to respond promptly to customer and carrier requests.
+ Document shipment events using knowledge gained through SOPs and prior experience.
+ Follow defined escalation procedures when issues arise or additional support is required.
+ Follow through on customer and carrier requests to ensure satisfaction and resolution.
+ Validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in systems in accordance with company and customer standards.
+ Escalate questions, issues, or complex requests when appropriate.
Essential Skills
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Previous customer service experience.
+ Ability to work evenings and/or weekends (for select roles).

Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).
+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
+ Prior customer service experience in a call center or similar environment.
+ Demonstrated communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
+ Prior experience working in a role requiring high attention to detail.
+ Commitment to and appreciation for a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced and detail-oriented, requiring frequent interaction with customers, carriers, and internal teams. Employees are expected to adhere to defined processes, escalation procedures, and quality standards. The initial training schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm to 12 am, in-office. Post-training, the role offers flexible scheduling with options for remote work and office presence as needed. Open schedule times include shifts such as Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday from 11:30 pm to 8 am, with the opportunity to work in the office anytime along with scheduled office days.

This is a Contract position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
