Campus Relations Specialist, UNLV Enrollment Management, Campus Relations and Visitor Experience [R0151864]
The Campus Relations Specialist (CRS) will report directly to the Assistant Director of Campus Relations under the direction of the Executive Director of Campus Relations and Visitor Experience. The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct support, analysis, and advice via chat messaging, text messaging, phone, and in‑person visitors; to create and curate knowledge articles, chat utterances, and web articles in order to support the increase in machine learning and agent knowledge for all chat, campus, and visitor outreach responses.
The CRS will improve guest service and support for students, guests, and staff, reducing the number of communications escalated to home offices.
Provide accurate, concise answers to student, visitor, and staff inquiries; research account activities, notes, and policies; analyze, assess, and troubleshoot issues, including escalations to other offices; create and maintain support documentation and knowledge bases; manage multiple tasks simultaneously; recognize tone and respond with empathy, de‑escalation when appropriate; serve as the front line for student/customer service for UNLV; master UNLV systems, CRM, SIS, and other platforms;
adapt to technology trends and suggest tech‑savvy solutions.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 1–3 years of related professional experience. Credentials must be obtained before employment start date. The university may consider equivalent experience in place of formal education: four years of relevant experience in place of a bachelor’s degree, or an associate’s degree plus two additional years of relevant experience.
Required Experience- One or more years of related professional experience or a Master’s degree
