Internet Technical Support Representative I

Position OverviewTake incoming calls in a call center environment to assist internet and phone customers with technical service‑related problems, including hardware and software configurations. Deliver a high‑quality customer experience from start to finish, troubleshoot and resolve issues on the first call, and build customer loyalty through active listening.
Position Schedule – Fully Hybrid After Six Months- Month 1‑3:
Training (onsite) - Month 4‑5:
Live calls and ongoing training (onsite) - Month 6 onward:
Full hybrid schedule (25% onsite, 75% work from home)

- Provide exceptional customer service while walking customers through common hardware and software configurations
- Navigate multiple tools to identify the root cause of customer issues
- Schedule on‑site service calls when necessary
- Multi‑task—simultaneously talk, type, read, and listen
- Meet or exceed attendance expectations
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Enter sales, upgrade, or service changes quickly and accurately
- Adhere to schedule
- Adapt in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two‑year degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or technical support experience; cable industry experience preferred
- Prior inbound call center experience preferred
- Strong multi‑tasking ability (speaking, typing, platform navigation)
- Knowledge of common consumer internet software, browsers, and email platforms preferred
- Basic understanding of internet, networking, and email protocols
- Strong customer‑service skills: listening, processing detailed information, establishing rapport
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Typing speed of 30+ WPM
- Shift flexibility: evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime
- Strong problem‑solving or organizational skills
- Understanding of basic accounting mathematics
- Microsoft Office experience a plus

Pay RangePay range for this position is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. The final offer will consider factors such as experience, skills, education, and certifications.
