About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Groups Consultant to join a growing inbound tour operator. In this role, you will assist in the planning and delivering group itineraries, ensuring seamless travel experiences for international clients. This is a fast-paced role ideal for someone highly organised, detail-focused, and passionate about the inbound travel and tourism sector.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with planning and coordinating inbound group itineraries, managing the complete booking lifecycle
- Confirm bookings with hotels, transport providers, attractions, and guides
- Provide exceptional customer service from initial contact to post-travel follow-up
- Monitor group arrivals and support on-the-ground coordination as required
- Track deposits, payments, and confirmations
- Support reporting, documentation, and operational processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners whilst staying informed on the latest products and experiences through research, supplier training, and industry events
- 3+ years experience in inbound tourism and tour operations
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage client and supplier relationships
- Strong knowledge of Australian tourism destinations
- Proactive, solutions-focused, calm under pressure, and a team player
- Passion for inbound travel and delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Competitive Salary – $82K - $87K + Super
