The purpose of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) is to meet or exceed customer expectations by assessing needs, prioritizing requests, and directing information to the appropriate resources. Customers may include patients, medical professionals, and family members.
Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact, carefully evaluating the purpose of the call, prioritizing care, and triaging as needed.
- Enroll new customers in Patient Services.
- Record activities in the patient database and follow up to secure services (product training, mailing promotional materials, etc.) by contacting physician’s offices, pharmacies, and other external entities.
- Complete various special projects as required.

Onsite availability required; hybrid and/or remote opportunities may be considered once requirements are met.
- Previous work experience in Specialty Pharmacy or Customer Service.
- Professional level computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, web-based applications, and key boarding.
- Experience working in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations (telephone or face-to-face), solving problems, making decisions, and using excellent judgment and customer service skills.
- Strong multitasking and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Dependable and strong work ethic.
- Ability to accept and implement feedback and coaching.
- Experience working with databases (CRM preferred) or tracking systems;
Salesforce CRM experience. - Experience in the health care/pharmaceutical industry environment.
- Understanding of challenges associated with patients’ medical conditions.
