We are seeking dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representatives to support members, providers, and partners in a fast-paced healthcare call center environment. This role involves resolving inquiries related to health plans, coverage, claims, and service concerns across multiple channels (phone, written, and in-person).
Key Responsibilities
+ Handle high-volume inbound calls and written inquiries from members, providers, and partners
+ Resolve issues related to:
+ Medical coverage, claims, eligibility, referrals
+ Billing inquiries, fee quotes, and patient concerns
+ Appointment scheduling and service complaints
+ Provide accurate information while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
+ Document interactions and maintain detailed records with high accuracy
+ Deliver exceptional customer experience through strong communication and problem-solving
Required Skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication
+ Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability
+ Comfortable working with dual monitors and MS Windows applications
+ High level of attention to detail
+ Ability to manage high-volume call environments
Basic Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED (must be verifiable)
+ Minimum 1 year of call center experience
+ Prior work-from-home experience
+ Experience in a regulated industry (Healthcare, Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, etc.)
Preferred Experience
+ Healthcare or insurance call center experience
+ Supporting health plan members or medical services inquiries
Work Environment
+ Remote (Washington State only) - must be local to Renton or Spokane area
+ Equipment pickup required at designated IT hub (Renton or Spokane)
+ Private, distraction-free workspace required
+ Must not be responsible for dependent care during working hours
Schedule
+ Department hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (7 days/week)
Production Hours (Post-Training):
+ Flexible shifts based on business needs
+ Must be open to evenings and weekends
+ Shifts may run as late as 9:30 PM PST
Training
+ 7 weeks total:
+ 3 weeks classroom-style training (Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM)
+ 4 weeks hands-on nesting
+ No time off permitted during training or first 60-90 days
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.62 - $21.62/hr.
