Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (8-hour shifts)

Hybrid schedule available after initial in-office training (2 days onsite per week)

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Patient Care Specialist I to join our team in a hybrid capacity in Vancouver, WA. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients and customers, supporting RS Medical products and services through inbound and outbound calls.

You will play an essential role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, promoting patient compliance, and providing education to support treatment success. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered service.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide patient education and product support via phone and virtual interactions
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls related to product inquiries and support needs
  • Accurately document and assess product complaints in accordance with company standards
  • Promote compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and internal policies
  • Collaborate with internal teams and sales personnel regarding patient accounts
  • Maintain accurate customer records, including contact details and payment information
  • Deliver prompt, empathetic, and professional service to every customer interaction
  • Monitor call queues and volumes to ensure appropriate coverage and responsiveness
What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • 6–12 months of experience in a call center, healthcare setting, or similar customer service role
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule (2 days in-office after training)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office systems
  • Experience navigating automated systems and managing customer or patient accounts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills with the ability to ask insightful questions and respond effectively
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable
  • Ability to maintain a professional and distraction-free remote work environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a clinic, hospital, or medical office setting
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Knowledge of VA, Workers’ Compensation, or Personal Injury Protection processes
  • Experience working directly with patients
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
Physical Requirements

This role operates in a general office environment and includes:

  • Frequent sitting, typing, and phone communication
  • Repetitive hand and wrist movements
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
