Base pay range
$25.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Position: Voice Recording Specialist (South African Accent)
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $25–$35/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: Project-based (approx. 3 hours of recorded conversation)
Role Responsibilities- Record natural-sounding phone conversations for a multilingual AI platform.
- Call a demo phone line and record short sessions from the caller side only.
- Spell names, email addresses, and phone numbers naturally, simulating customer support interactions.
- Vary tone, pace, and speaking style, including pauses and filler words for realism.
- Record calls across different environments (quiet, muffled voice, speaker mode, background noise).
- Log required call metadata accurately in a shared tracking sheet.
- Native South African accent from South Africa.
- Ability to place real phone calls (VoIP not permitted).
- Comfortable recording audio with light background noise for authenticity.
- Ability to meet a short turnaround timeline and follow detailed recording guidelines.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, contract-based role.
