Customer Service Rep, Bilingual
Union‑represented customer service representative located in Windsor, CT. The role involves handling inbound calls from electric and natural gas customers, listening to their needs and providing solutions to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities- Handle inbound customer interactions and provide solutions.
- Work independently and as part of a team focused on quality and excellence.
- Be on‑call and work extended hours, mandatory overtime, and emergency restoration assignments during inclement weather or major events.
- Travel between MA/CT/NH as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience helping customers in any capacity.
- English and Spanish fluency required.
- Pass pre‑employment skills testing, background check, and drug screening.
- Location:
Windsor, CT. - Must be available for emergency restoration assignments and on‑call shifts.
- Work outside normal hours and travel between MA/CT/NH.
- Work‑from‑home program based on performance; must live in the service territory.
- Program of work from home is available in Windsor, CT and Manchester, NH.
Compensation starts at $26.73/hour, plus overtime and an annual performance bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, paid time off, education reimbursement and volunteer opportunities.
Safety sensitive position; subject to PHMSA federally regulated drug testing, including random drug testing.
