Specifying Customer Service Representative (Remote)
About the RoleThe Specifying Customer Service Representative will work from home, engaging with customers through inbound and outbound calls and online channels. The position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and technical support by resolving routine inquiries and issues related to client products and services, particularly automotive parts and related systems.
Responsibilities- Utilize client systems to investigate customer parts inquiries
- Maintain working knowledge of car mechanics and automotive parts requirements
- Provide verification and recommendations on correct auto parts requirements
- Adapt responses to meet the needs of each customer to achieve satisfaction
- Maintain database case notes on all customer interactions
- Read and research relevant materials and resources to stay current with programs and updates
- Deliver expert customer experiences with a positive, friendly approach
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- 1–2 years of automotive parts counter experience preferred
- Additional automotive parts training or certifications a plus
- Proficient PC and keyboarding skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong integrity, compassion, and commitment to delivering value in each customer interaction
- Base salary: $16 per hour (not below applicable minimum wage)
