  • Knowledge of terminology to perform policy maintenance and accounting

Education & Experience Required
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Three years of job‑related experience
Travel
  • 10% or less travel
  • Reconcile and service invoices and account payments; identify discrepancies or account variances and take necessary steps to resolve or refer issues to appropriate team member or department for resolution; ensure activity such as information changes, premiums, approvals, correspondence, account reconciliation, etc. is recorded accurately and promptly.
  • Communicate with payroll accounts, policyholders, associates, or coordinators and various departments to obtain additional information or confirm changes; represent the department as subject matter expert.
  • Provide thorough and accurate responses to customer requests/inquiries; request information or confirmation of action to be taken; review data for accuracy and completeness; enter data while maintaining established service/productivity levels and meeting quality guidelines.
  • Gather, review and analyze information to determine if reissue or denial is appropriate in accordance with established guidelines and procedures; complete reissues for newly issued policies to ensure accuracy of coverage/policy and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform tasks that vary in complexity; rely on experience and judgment to accomplish assigned duties; serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues; possibly assist with orienting, training, or checking the work of lower‑level team members.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Total Rewards

Salary range: $43,000 to $53,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, flexible spending accounts for health and dependent care, supplemental Aflac policies at no cost, 401(k) plans, annual bonuses, stock purchase opportunity, 11 paid holidays, up to 20 days PTO, and various state‑mandated leave options.
