Position: Collection Representative (Remote-KS Residents)

Remote Eligibility

The position is fully remote, but candidates must reside in Wisconsin, Kansas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina, or South Carolina.

Responsibilities
  • Handle high-volume outbound and inbound calls with professionalism and confidence.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements that meet both consumer needs and company goals.
  • Consistently meet and exceed performance metrics (quality, compliance, collections).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow all required laws and standards.
  • Build trust quickly through active listening, empathy, and strong communication.
  • Contact consumers regarding past‑due balances and negotiate payment terms and methods within guidelines, including overcoming common and challenging objections.
  • Update account notes and other documentation in real time while working with consumers, making few errors.
  • Use scripts/verbatims and navigate within guidelines to maximize potential recovery on each call.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements such as FDCPA, state laws, and other regulations.
  • Learn and operate with proficiency within the systems and programs used for collections.

Requirements
  • Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, utilizing proper grammar and telephone etiquette.
  • Navigate multiple computer applications and databases, multitasking while on the phone.
  • Overcome objections and obstacles to negotiate payment successfully.
  • Reliable and responsible; arrive on time and use time productively.
  • Possess and demonstrate professional judgement.
  • Understand and handle sensitive personal information (SPI) and protected health information (PHI) with confidentiality.
  • Use provided tools to compute basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
  • Self‑motivation and commitment to career success.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain Professional Collections Specialist (PCS) certification within one year of hire (paid by company).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Successfully complete company collector training program.
  • Clear initial, ongoing, and annual identity, criminal, and background checks.
Compensation, Earnings Potential, and Work Schedules
  • Training Period – $20/hour during virtual training. Scheduled full‑time hours: 8:00AM–5:00PM CST / 9:00AM–6:00PM ET.
  • Following Training – $17.00/hour plus a performance‑based bonus/commission opportunity. Scheduled full‑time hours remain 8:00AM–5:00PM CST / 9:00AM–6:00PM ET.
  • Higher Commission – Achieved by consistently exceeding performance expectations; commission becomes the largest component of pay. When reached, schedule may transition to Monday‑Friday full‑time: 8:00AM–5:00PM CST / 9:00AM–6:00PM ET with two evening shifts per week (until 7:00PM CST) and every other Friday off.
  • Additional schedule options, including later evenings and Saturdays, may become available in 2026.
