Administration and Management Trainees
The Bureau of Talent Acquisition is seeking Administration and Management Trainees who are ready to learn, grow, and make an impact. Descriptionof Work
- Training Program:
Participate in a 12‑month structured learning plan that builds administrative and technical human resource skills - System Familiarity:
Learn the Commonwealth applicant tracking system and review or create requisitions, enter a variety of personnel transactions, and prepare monthly reports - Posting Development:
Prepare job postings and review content to ensure accuracy and clarity - Exam Entry:
Enter exam information and supplemental questions into the applicant tracking system - Team
Collaboration:
Work with supervisors, hiring managers, and business partners on assigned tasks - Clear Communication:
Provide accurate and timely updates to staff and partners
Upon successful completion of this training program, you will be promoted to a permanent Human Resource Analyst.
Work Schedule and Additional Information- Full‑time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with a 60‑minute lunch. Work schedule may be negotiable within the organization’s business hours.
- Telework:
Opportunity to work from home part‑time, up to 3 days a week telework and 2 days a week in the office. A securely configured high‑speed internet connection and an approved Pennsylvania location are required. Telework availability is subject to change and may be discussed during the interview. - Salary:

- Be a bachelor’s degree holder, including 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field; or
- Have an equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
