As a Customer Service Rep II, you will provide personalized and professional service to participants of Structured Settlements. You’ll respond to inquiries from annuitants, which may come in via mail, fax, or telephone, and may require direct interaction and follow‑up to missing information. You will work independently and use good judgment and a thorough understanding of Structured Settlement procedures and philosophies.
Responsibilities- Respond to customer phone calls via recorded lines.
- Participate in monthly peer review to evaluate call quality.
- Research, analyze, and respond to moderate customer service inquiries within acceptable standards.
- Enter key data for customer service requests within department quality guidelines.
- Handle high‑priority requests in a rapid, efficient, and accurate manner.
- Respond positively to participant written correspondence or e‑mail inquiries, providing a high level of service and quality that exceeds customer expectation.
- Provide necessary and appropriate assistance in completion of paperwork supporting a variety of benefit transactions, both phone and mail.
- Process other participant change requests (address, EFTs, etc.) within the department standards.
- Maintain benefits to ensure payments are going to the payees correctly.
- Coordinate duties and tasks by effective prioritization of responsibilities and time management.
- Challenge workflows and procedures and assist in making enhancement recommendations in support of “Exceptional Service”.
- Preferred: 3+ years of insurance experience, preferably with immediate or deferred annuity products.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Strong customer service and team orientation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask and handle high work volume with tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Windows.
- Some college preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish highly desirable.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $30,000 to $33,000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range; the actual compensation offered will depend on multiple factors, including geographic location, skills, experience, and other qualifications. In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Amarillo, TX office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which allows colleagues to work in an office and remotely. Remote work may be considered for the right individual but must be willing to work 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., CST. No travel is required.
