The Donor Matching Specialist plays a key role in guiding Intended Parents throughout the donor matching journey. The role combines elements of coordination, client service, strategic collaboration, and sales, requiring a deep understanding of Intended Parent needs and the ability to translate those into successful matches. While this role is highly collaborative and team-oriented, the ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage responsibilities autonomously is critical to success.
What you'll do:
- Provide personalized support and guidance to parents from lead nurturing, to donor selection, and ultimately confirming donor matches.
- Develop a deep understanding of our donor programs offering insights, tailored recommendations, and warm introductions if additional support is needed.
- Conduct consultations to understand clients' preferences, values, cultural considerations, and needs.
- Collaborate with our donor team and Intended parent clinics to review candidates, answer questions, and confirm matches.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in internal systems (CRM, IP portal, internal sales trackers etc.) and ensure all client facing documents are up-to-date and accurate.
- Communicate timelines and next steps clearly to clients, ensuring transparency and realistic expectations.
- Work closely with the Client Development/Sales to share insights, industry trends, and improvements to the matching process.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Customer service or sales-related experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to support clients with empathy and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; capable of handling multiple cases and shifting priorities.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, databases, and virtual communication tools.
- Passion for helping build families and understanding of the sensitive nature of fertility journeys.
- Experience working with a wide variety of families from various backgrounds.
