Candidates must reside in the St. Louis metro area. This is a part‑time, mostly remote position with ~5% in our Chesterfield office for meetings and events. Also available for occasional team lunches. Researchers schedule their work time Monday through Friday during business hours so we can reach businesses during their work hours. Must be able to work 20 hours/week, and up to 30 hours/week in the summer months.
Job SummaryComplete online and phone research to help individuals and families as they navigate corporate relocations. This role involves tasks such as helping people find a new doctor’s office, researching information on obtaining professional licenses, and helping people find childcare. Some research is complex, and some is straightforward, but all is important. This job makes a difference in people’s lives.
This is a remote, work‑from‑home position with very flexible hours and is an entry‑level, hourly‑paid role. While this may not be the job that pays you enough to buy that new Ferrari you’ve always wanted, you’ll get a great team to work with, plus schedule flexibility to take care of personal life. Many part‑time researchers see this job as a side‑hustle to complement full‑time work such as teaching or caring for children/families.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED (no college required, some college a plus)
- At least 18 years old
- Good phone skills and working knowledge of the internet
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with research and other teams
- Proficiency in internet searching; ability to quickly obtain pertinent resources and to learn proprietary research tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 45 wpm typing speed
- Creative, proactive thinking and effective problem‑solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and web browsing
- You want to help people and assist in creating a smooth, stress‑free relocation process
- You’re able to pick up new technology quickly and can use AI to assist in research
- You have a positive attitude and can collaborate with the team to drive results
- You’re looking for a position that offers flexibility and the ability to work from home and are available during business hours
- You can use your own home‑based high‑speed internet, telephone, and computer
