Customer Care Associate - RemoteGlobal Contact Services (GCS) is a long‑term contractor for the New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) and provides 24/7/365 customer service for the NYCTA “Access‑a‑Ride” transportation program, which serves customers with disabilities.
Remote positions are available for workers within a 50‑mile radius and within a 2‑hour commute from 3300 Northern Blvd, Long Island City, NY. Work may require occasional on‑site training.
All new employees must attend on‑site (in‑person) training. Remote work requires a dedicated, distraction‑free workspace, a desktop or laptop with the latest Windows or macOS operating system (16 GB RAM, 2.5 GHz CPU) and willingness to install GCS software. Chromebooks, iPads, tablets and other mobile devices are not supported for remote work.
GCS provides a headset for your use and cybersecurity support during paid training.

Qualifications- Excellent communication skills – clear speaking, focused listening, note‑taking, data entry and a friendly personality.
- Strong work ethic – punctuality, following directions, availability for overtime and flexibility with shift bids.
- Computer proficiency – must have and use a suitable desktop or laptop; must allow GCS to load anti‑virus software.
- Remote environment – dedicated area free of distractions and background noise.
