Job Description

Looking for a high-impact role supporting critical oilfield operations? We are hiring a Commercial Operations Coordinator to support weekend and on-call operations for their Sucker Rods division. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has excellent customer service skills, and can coordinate urgent orders with accuracy and urgency.

Hybrid Schedule

• Remote Coverage:
• Friday: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Opportunity to work one additional in-office day during the week to reach 40 hours if desired
• Must be available to work holidays as operational needs require

This role is heavily focused on handling urgent customer needs and keeping oilfield operations moving without delays. Candidates must be comfortable taking calls, expediting orders, and coordinating logistics in real time.

Responsibilities include:

• Taking urgent customer orders over the phone for critical oilfield parts
• Entering and updating purchase orders accurately
• Using internal databases to locate and track parts
• Coordinating with yards to ensure orders are prepared and ready
• Scheduling truck pickups and deliveries as needed
• Monitoring order status and providing updates to customers
  
  Expediting orders to prevent operational downtime
• Serving as the primary point of contact during weekend/on-call coverage
• Performing basic contract and order validation

• Strong customer service and communication skills are REQUIRED
• Comfortable handling urgent situations and high-volume phone communication
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work across logistics, commercial, and yard teams
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel preferred)
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Flexibility for on-call operational support

This position supports operations involving sucker rods
, steel rods used in artificial lift systems that help produce oil in the field. Experience in oil & gas, logistics, dispatching, supply chain, customer operations, or industrial coordination is highly preferred.
