Job Summary:
- We are seeking experienced Customer Support Representatives to join a high-volume specialty pharmacy call center. This role serves as the primary point of contact for patients calling about prescription status, medication delivery, payments, insurance information, and general pharmacy support.
- The ideal candidate has at least one year of high-volume call center experience, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow strict attendance and schedule adherence requirements.
Customer Service
- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls.
- Assist patients with prescription status, medication delivery, and payment scheduling.
- Answer customer questions professionally and efficiently.
- Escalate clinical questions to pharmacists or nurses when appropriate.
- Maintain productivity and quality metrics.
- Follow strict schedule adherence.
- Accurately document all customer interactions.
- Update progress notes within the pharmacy management system.
- Verify insurance information.
- Provide refill and shipment updates.
- Assist with medication delivery scheduling.
- Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs).
- Ensure documentation is complete and timely.
- Protect patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 1 year of heavy call center experience (Required)
- Experience following strict attendance and schedule adherence policies
- Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Typing speed of 35+ WPM
