Typical hours*:
Monday - 10:30a-4:30p, Tuesday - 10:30a-4:30p, Wednesday - 8:00a-4:30p, Thursday - OFF, Friday - 10:30a-4:30p. Our hours of work are based on enrollment needs, and are subject to change. For the first 8 weeks the training in this position will take place at our main campus. After a successful training period, the Student Support Assistant position will be a remote/hybrid (work from home) position with one day a week scheduled in the North Canton office.
Location:
Stark State Main, North Canton and hybrid work from home position. Pay: $14.12 - $18.00/hour, commensurate with experience.

- Serve as a first point of contact to students with the highest levels of customer service and accuracy.
- Guide and assist students/parents through the process associated with applying to the College, registration process, applying for financial aid, and completion of all necessary paperwork.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of federal, state, institutional policies and College computer systems.
- Resolve inquiries by phone and/or email with students, faculty/staff and other College campus community members.
To be considered you'll need:
High School Diploma or GED is required along with a minimum of one year of customer service experience. Preferred qualifications (although not required):
Associate's Degree in Office Management, Business, Accounting, Communications, or related field is preferred. Experience in a higher education environment is desired. At least one year of high volume phone work experience is preferred.
