Training
Hours:
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM M-F EST
Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00pm EST (Possibility of OT – usually 7am-6pm)
Home Internet:
No cellular based Internet Service Providers i.e. (Telecommunication, Telecommunication Mobile, etc.) Must be a traditional wired from the pole to home Internet Service Provider. Remote workers supporting contact center operations must have access to the internet via their internet service provider by purchasing or maintaining a service that provides a minimum internet speed download requirement of 25 Mbps for a single user, download of 50 Mbps for shared internet connectivity, and 5 Mbps upload speed required;
10 Mbps preferred.
Note:
there may be some projects that have different requirements based on project needs which are communicated at the time of hire. Mobile hotspots must not be the primary source for internet connection for remote workers. Connectivity from the PC to the Internet router via a Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable is required to ensure optimal call quality and customer experience.
Proof of an internet speed test must be provided upon request.

Google Speedtest or can be used to test your speed and take a screenshot of the results.
Training Schedule/Duration: 100% attendance is expected. Reinforce the importance of attendance during training and nesting. There should be no time off requests or requests to leave early or arrive late during the training period. The expectation is that a supplier will not present a candidate with a prescheduled appointment during the training period. Missed time during the training period may result in termination.
Project Overview:
Virginia Medicaid has low-cost and no-cost health coverage programs. There are programs for children, pregnant women and adults, including those with disabilities. Our contingent staff will be assisting clients with program connection and eligibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process specialized cases with a high degree of difficulty.
- Work and research appeals at supervisor discretion. Serve as SME on eligibility policy and processes for team and understand impact on other teams.
- Work closely with management and work groups to create and maintain work plan documents.
- Track the status and due dates of projects.
- Collaborate with project managers on various initiatives and projects to track progress and provide support as necessary.
- Assist training team during the last week of sandboxing to answer questions and assist new trainees as they transition to their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required and 4+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associate degree with 2+ years' experience preferred.
- Basic computer navigational skills.
- Novice level knowledge with Microsoft Office - This position requires bilingual proficiency in languages as specified.
