Customer Service Representative

We're seeking customer-focused professionals to support members enrolled in government-funded healthcare programs, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace plans. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others, solving problems, and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Representatives serve as a trusted resource for members by answering questions related to health insurance coverage, billing, benefits, provider networks, premiums, deductibles, and more.
What You'll Do- Handle a high volume of inbound member calls, averaging 50-70 calls per day
- Assist members with questions regarding coverage, benefits, premiums, billing, deductibles, copays, and provider networks
- Research and resolve customer concerns accurately and efficiently
- Ask thoughtful questions to understand member needs and identify appropriate solutions
- Document interactions and maintain accurate records
- Navigate multiple systems while delivering a positive member experience
- Meet quality, productivity, and service expectations
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, phone-based environment
- Strong listening skills and attention to detail
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to learn and explain complex information clearly
- Minnesota residency
- Private workspace and reliable high-speed internet with ethernet connectivity
- Call center or contact center experience
- Healthcare, insurance, benefits, or member services experience
- Experience supporting customers over the phone
- Previous remote work experience
Successful candidates are naturally curious, ask great questions, and enjoy helping people navigate complex situations. Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with a strong history of customer service, problem-solving, and relationship building are encouraged to apply.
Training & Support- Paid training program (approximately 4-5 weeks)

Training Hours
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Regular Schedule
- Monday-Friday between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Occasional evening shifts (approximately two per month)
- Limited weekend coverage during annual open enrollment periods
