** Patient Support Center Representative
** is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service, and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical, and service goals.

This position is full time, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 11:30 am - 8:00 pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

We offer 4 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm PST, Monday - Friday.

* Primary Responsibilities:

* + First point of contact for our patients;
Sets the tone for a positive experience

+ Exhibits empathy, courtesy, competence, efficiency, and care

+ Schedules appointments and procedures, following standard guidelines

+ Uses Multiple computer and phone systems to fulfill patient needs over phone

+ Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

+ Advises patients of their responsibilities regarding insurance and referral information

* Required Qualifications:

*
* + High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent years of experience

+ Must be 18 years of age OR older

+ 1+ years of customer service experience

+ 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience

+ Ability to work any of our full tome, 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 11:30 am - 8:00 pm PST from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, including the flexibility to work weekends given the business need

* Preferred Qualifications:

*
* + 1+ years of experience in a health care setting

+ EMR experience

+ Knowledge / Understanding of CPT / ICD - 10 coding

+ Communication skills and phone etiquette

+

Experience with providing customer service

+ Access to independent means of transportation during work hours for job related tasks

** Telecommuting Requirements:*
* + Reside within the Eastern, Central, OR Mountain Time Zones

+ Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

+ Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

+ Must live in a location that can receive a United Health Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service (UHG requires a wired internet connection: cable, DSL or fiber internet service with Minimum speed standard of 25 Mb download/10-15 Mb upload. Wireless services such as satellite, hot spot, line of sight antenna cannot be used for telecommuting.)

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 - $29 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
