Position

American Express – Customer Care Professional (Columbus, USA). Salary: $21 per hour.

• Deliver international‑elegance customer support, responding to inquiries and concerns through multiple channels (calls, chat, text messaging).
• Build meaningful relationships with clients through a consultative approach, understanding their current and future needs, and offering first‑touch solutions to achieve a positive outcome for the client and American Express.
• Enhance customer experience by identifying opportunities to provide products based on Card member needs.
• Meet and exceed performance goals, compliance guidelines, and productivity objectives.
• Navigate computer systems and applications to serve customers and enable them to get the most from our online and mobile platforms.
• Document required information, including fee details, client changes, alternate contact methods, and travel notifications.
• Re‑prioritize and adapt to an ever‑changing environment.

• At least 2 years of customer support experience, with no more than 6 months in a position that does not involve chat or similar support roles.
• Typing velocity of at least 40 words per minute with 90% accuracy.
• Basic navigation skills, internet savvy, and primary troubleshooting knowledge.
• Ability to multitask and toggle between multiple displays or tools.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Assertiveness to address difficult conversations.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and resourcefulness abilities.
• Analytical thinking and forward‑looking problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Confidence in working in a digital environment.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent through completion of university coursework).

• Region: BGC Corporate Middle 2, 5th Avenue Nook, 30th Avenue, Bonifacio Worldwide City, Taguig.
• Workplace flexibility: full time with a hybrid arrangement (onsite and remote).
