Commercial Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) for a Downtown San Diego insurance agency.

  Hybrid Remote – Remote on Mondays and Fridays
• Pay: $65,000 per year

• Manage a commercial book of business totaling $5million in premiums, primarily trucking and transportation accounts with fleets up to 220 units.
• Document all customer service tasks in Salesforce via Service Tickets.
• Handle a wide array of customer requests, ensuring completion within specified timelines.
• Contact customers to review changes in policies, premiums, and carrier guidelines.
• Service customers and monitor activities, certificates, underwriting emails, and requests.
• Cross‑sell current customers by learning to quote and sell personal lines.
• Calculate premiums, discounts, and other payments for products and services.
• Prepare forms, applications, and agreements.
• Pivot customers to another product line via phone or in person.
• Deliver policies to customers, including list of exclusions.
• Send documents or other information to customers, operations center, underwriters, etc., using computer, mail, or fax.
• Track and record policy changes and update information in Salesforce, Nowcerts, services, and other relevant databases.

• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience as a Commercial Lines CSR in an independent agency environment.
• Recent trucking/transportation experience preferred.
• Active California Property/Casualty license required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Salesforce experience a plus.
• Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, independence, attention to detail, and ability to work quickly.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.
