Make a Positive Impact First State Insurance Agency is looking for talented and resourceful candidates to fill the role of Employee Benefits Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative will play a critical role on our team and be responsible for administrative tasks to assist our internal teams in delivering first class benefits solutions.

Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values Professionalism Engage  with customers, colleagues and supervisors on the phone and in person with a high level of professionalism and respect

Perform administrative activities on client accounts including processing enrollments and eligibility changes

Accountability

Assist with record keeping and files for clients, including logging activities and documents in agency management system and maintaining client disclosures for group accounts

Initiative

Attain thorough understanding of internal processes and team members responsibilities in order to accurately and effectively provide services to client

Must have understanding of new case submissions and renewal transitions in order to assist internal team throughout entire process

Adaptability

Prepares requests for proposals by means of organizing data for quotes and reviewing current plan designs

Works with Account Manager in reviewing proposal request and obtains additional information needed for quote

Qualifications

Excellent Customer Service Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Exceptional written & verbal communication skills

Willingness to pass/maintain Life & Health insurance license

Strong sense of punctuality & attendance
