POSITIONPURPOSE:
Provides telephone support for motorists seeking information about the Illinois Vehicle Emissions Testing Program and provides troubleshooting and administrative support for inspection station and repair industry personnel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Respond in a professional, courteous, supportive, and informative manner to all inquiries from motorists relating to program rules and requirements, procedures, test results, and station locations.
- Professionally interact with inspection station personnel assisting with technical and procedural questions and concerns pertaining to the emissions testing process as well as administrative support (providing forms, training information, etc.)
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One-year experience in a Customer Service or Call Center environment
- Experience in successful conflict resolution preferred
