Customer Service Representative (Health Insurance)

We are seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to support members during the annual open enrollment period. In this role, you will handle inbound calls from members, primarily assisting Medicare participants with questions regarding benefits, coverage, and plan information.

The ideal candidate will have strong call center experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide patient, empathetic customer service to an elderly population.

Responsibilities

+ Answer inbound calls from members regarding health insurance benefits and coverage

+ Educate members on plan details and available benefits

+ Research and resolve member questions and concerns

+ Document call details accurately within internal systems

+ Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance and quality standards

+ Manage a high volume of inbound calls in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

+ 2+ years of call center experience required

+

Experience with in health insurance, healthcare, or payer environments preferred

+ Medicaid experience is a plus

+ Strong verbal communication and active listening skills

+ Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism on every call

+ High School Diploma or GED required

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
