Our Customer Care Specialists can start at an impressive $18.00 an hour, plus bonuses and incentives! The rate is determined by experience.

Wedgewood Pharmacy is the place for you! Wedgewood is the nation’s largest and most trusted provider of compounded veterinary medications. Our Customer Care Specialists currently start at $18 an hour (starting rate is based on experience).

• New-hire education consists of one week of paid in-classroom training at our Manhattan. KS location;
  Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5 PM CST
  . You will learn about our state-of-the-art laboratories and impressive shipping and warehousing operations. Weeks 2-4: M–F, 8:30 AM–5 PM CST, fully onsite. Month 2: M–F, 11:30 AM – 8 PM CST, fully onsite.
• Upon successful completion of new-hire training, initial work schedules will be Monday
  - Friday, 11:30 AM – 8PM CST until the next shift bid, where this may change. All Customer Care employees participate in regular shift bids where work schedules are awarded to each employee based on tenure and performance. This affords every agent the ability to regularly compete and be awarded a more desirable schedule.
• The position operates on a hybrid schedule after the 2-month training period, working on-site in the office (5) days per week. After the 2-month training period, established agents may begin a hybrid schedule. Eligible employees may work from home two (2) days per week on a rotating basis (i.e., two WFH days one week, in office all days the following week, and so on).

• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Efficiently navigate patient and prescriber profiles across multiple systems.
• Enter prescriptions in our systems.
• Adapt swiftly to each customer interaction, whether inbound, outbound, or written, through email, phone, SMS, chat, and mailed prescriptions.
• Work independently and collaborate with team members!
• Engage with team members across pharmacy and fulfillment facilities.
• Answer high-volume calls - over 70 per day.
• Ability to work uninterrupted, with 90% of your day assisting customers.

• Experienced in data entry and multitasking
• Experienced in handling high-volume inbound calls - 60 or more a day
• Previous call center experience or high-volume call environment.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a commitment to following procedures.
• An effective and persuasive communicator
• Professional computer experience (Office, Internet, etc.)
• Strong math skills
• A high school graduate or equivalent required
• Live within a commutable distance to Manhattan, Kansas
• Able to obtain a Kansas Pharmacy Tech License ( We will train you)
